Delete your account and data – Life in the UK Test Prep

This page explains how to delete your account and data in the Android app Life in the UK Test Prep, published by Yasantha Hettiarachchi IT Consultancy Service.

Delete in the app (fastest)

Open Life in the UK Test Prep.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete my data and confirm.

This works whether or not you signed in with Google. If you signed in with Google a long time ago, the app may ask you to sign in again before deleting, for your security.

Delete without the app

If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have the phone, email yasantha.hettiarachchi@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my UK Test Prep data". Send it from the Google account you signed in with, so we can find your backup. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your online backup: answers, review schedule, mock test results, daily study totals, streaks, test date, daily goal and reminder time.
Your app account, including the Google name, email address and user ID linked to it.
When you delete in the app, the progress and settings stored on your phone.

What is kept, and for how long

Question reports you sent are kept without your account details until the question has been reviewed, and no longer than 24 months.
Analytics and crash reports are not linked to your name or email address. They are deleted automatically after 2 months (analytics) and 90 days (crash reports).
Subscription records are kept by Google Play and RevenueCat for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
